About LOIB
The Research Society of the Occupation of Latvia (LOIB) is a public non-profit organization. It was established on November 3rd, 2009 (Registration Nr: 40008149020).
According to the Statutes of LOIB, the organization’s objective is to research the totalitarian regimes and to work towards fostering the rights of those people who had suffered under the foreign occupation.
LOIB also aims at carrying out activities to promote the development of civic society, education, science, culture and historical memory in Latvia.
